Tomorrow, Sept 13, 2011, the City of Deerfield Beach has called a "Special" City Commission Meeting at 9:30am to discuss the Fire Assessment Fee. The City has listed that no new fee increase has been proposed, but I suggest everyone who can attend, do so. It is fishy though, since a Budget Hearing is already scheduled for Sept 20 @ 7pm, why call a "Special" City Commission Meeting a week before the regularly scheduled Budget Hearing???
