Deerfield Beach: Been a Month and Still Awaiting "NEWS" and Conclusion of Fatal Hit and Run Accident on Hillsboro and MLK (UPDATED)

This upcoming Friday (March 17, 2012) will make one month to the very day that Thetus Fleming Jr. (22) was killed at night by a hit and run crash while crossing at the corner of Hillsboro and MLK Blvd in Deerfield Beach by David Calderilla Alcocer (20), according to BSO THI Unit.

Florida law under statute
316.027 Crash involving death or personal injuries.(1)(a) The driver of any vehicle involved in a crash occurring on public or private property that results in injury of any person must immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the crash, or as close thereto as possible, and must remain at the scene of the crash until he or she has fulfilled the requirements of s.316.062. Any person who willfully violates this paragraph commits a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.(b) The driver of any vehicle involved in a crash occurring on public or private property that results in the death of any person must immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the crash, or as close thereto as possible, and must remain at the scene of the crash until he or she has fulfilled the requirements of s.316.062. A person who is arrested for a violation of this paragraph and who has previously been convicted of a violation of this section, s. 316.061, s. 316.191, or s. 316.193, or a felony violation of s. 322.34, shall be held in custody until brought before the court for admittance to bail in accordance with chapter 903. Any person who willfully violates this paragraph commits a felony of the first degree, punishable as provided in s.775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084. Any person who willfully commits such a violation while driving under the influence as set forth in s. 316.193(1) shall be sentenced to a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of 2 years.

listed driver of the hit and run vehicle  that killed
Thetus Fleming Jr.
Yet, David Calderilla Alcocer has not yet been detained, arrested, or charged with any crime as related to this matter.   Less than a week later (Thursday, February 23, 2012) after killing someone he was on Facebook conversing with friends as if this tragedy had not even happened.

Which many people still don't know that a fatal pedestrian/motorist accident even occurred at Hillsboro and MLK Blvd on February 17, 2012, let alone the fact that it was a fatal hit and run crash and the driver has never been arrested or held accountable for breaking this Florida Law or one of the basic codes of human decency because instead of "stopping" and "remaining"  to see if the person he hit was ok or even alive he left his victim bloodied and dying in the middle of the road like some animal.  He didn't even care!!!

This chicken was shown more concern than
Thetus Fleming Jr. by David Calderilla Alcocer

The fact that the driver, David Calderilla-Alcocer, of the vehicle involved in the crash that resulted in the death of Thetus Fleming Jr. did not STOP and did not REMAIN at the scene of the crash should be enough to at the very least arrest him and charge him with breaking the "hit and run" law while BSO THI Unit continues their investigation, but no this guy is left to wonder the streets and go on with his life, as if he hadn't taken the life of someone else.

Maybe if, David Calderilla Alcocer, had done this and caused the deaths of 2 little white girls out on Powerline or a hispanic male on Sample and Military, or a little old white lady on Dixie and 48th Street then he would already be in jail, instead of home on Facebook "CHILLEN"...IJS
The above listed incidents are actual accidents that were actually found in the news within the last 4 months in Deerfield Beach, but are unrelated to the Thetus Fleming Jr. ongoing investigation, which only got one minomention in the online news a week after the incident, but did not make any of the printed news rags.
But hey what do I know, I am just a blogger...

Thetus Fleming Jr is just DEAD...

and his killer, David Calderilla, is home on Facebook, Chillen, bored as hell...

***Updated:***

This just keeps getting worse and worse and could probably explain the hold-up with this investigation, but doesn't explain why David Calderilla-Alcocer has not been arrested and brought up on any formal charges yet.

As you can see our young friend, David Calderilla-Alcocer, is no stranger to traffic infractions having racked up 4 here back in November 16, 2011, just one (1) day shy of three months prior to him getting into another traffic incident that resulted in the death of Thetus Fleming Jr. on 2/17/12.

Please notice that the above case is still pending/open as of March 15, 2012, as it's still listed on the clerks website as such.

Not to mention this little beauty from back in April 2009, which was apparently "disposed" of by the Court.

That means the Judge threw the case out.

And here we go again back in 2008, which would make him about 16 at the time of the offense, he has a pending/open case for having an open alcohol container and littering from a vehicle on a public highway.  Yet, he is still out driving and partying.

BSO and Broward Court Judges what is going here???
